A Little Late? Maybe. Too Late? Nah.

I’m talking about Harry Potter, of course.

This may come as a surprise to everyone, especially those that know me well, but I never really had the chance to read any of the books. I know it is pretty mainstream and the hype around them is uncanny. but for one reason or another I found myself engaged in other literary pursuits.

So, I finally took the time out to start the series and I have to say I am extremely impressed to date. The stories are awesome so far. Part of what finally prompted this is the fact that I am taking my girlfriend to Universal Studios and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter later this year, for her birthday, and I wanted to make sure I knew enough about the stories to get the most out of the place.

So, bring on the butterbeer, bring on the treats from Hogsmeade. Maybe even get a Firebolt of my own!
